Staff Contact with Families

We pride ourselves on making good, sincere relationships with the families of the children who attend our setting. It is important to us that our relationships are kept on a professional and appropriate basis to protect our families, the children, and our staff.  It is not appropriate for staff to see or speak to members of our families outside of school whilst the child is still attending.  The exception to the instruction is if the staff member and family are known to each other, in a personal capacity, prior to the child starting with us.  

 

Communication between staff and families may be made on open forums such as Facebook, where comments made between staff and families are visible to all.  However, private messages via social media, text, or email or not permitted, nor is it permitted for staff to give their personal telephone numbers to parents/carers or children.  Parents wishing to contact key workers, the manager, or the committee must either telephone on 01322 522628, email info@stpaulinuspreschool.com, or post on the pre-school private Facebook page.

 

Should staff received a private message they must inform the manager and instruct the parent/carer to contact us via the above methods.
