Committee
The committee works hand in hand with the pre-school manager and staff team, and is vital to ensure the smooth running of the pre-school. We hold termly meetings to plan fundraising events, check the budget remains on track and ensure that the needs of all children and staff are being met.
Being a committee member is a very rewarding role. Not only is it a great way to get to know the team better and to meet other parents, it’s also hugely gratifying and great fun! It gives you a real insight into what goes on behind the scenes at pre-school as well as the opportunity to have a genuine impact on your child’s early years education.

I decided to join the Committee as Chairperson after attending their AGM (annual general meeting) in December 2021. I have 2 boys, one who is currently at the setting and one who will join soon. My background is I am a trained Teaching Assistance and have always wanted to work with children. I enjoy seeing their faces when they learn something new. I love seeing that light bulb moment happen, it's priceless. Feel free to stop me any time you see me, I love a good natter!!

Technology Officer & Treasurer
I joined the Committee as Technology Officer in January 2022. My eldest son is starting his final year at the pre-school before he ventures to big school in September 2023. While my youngest is set to start as his older brother departs. In my professional career I have 14+ years experience in technology and wanted to bring that to the pre school. Whether it be with a laptop issue or help launch our new website, the possibilities of what we can achieve are endless. I have recently also assumed the role of Treasurer, a responsibility I gladly accept to help ensure the pre-school is financially where it should be.
